A COOKIE AND A COCKTAIL
When one of our founders bought the 100-year-old Steenstra’s cookie brand from his retiring grandfather, we built an Old Fashioned around it. We start with straight bourbon and add bitters we make in-house, almond and a nutmeg extract we steep and redistill here. Invert sugar gives it a little sweetness. Then it’s filtered and bottled at 70 proof.
Tasting Notes and Profile
NOSE: Bourbon, nutmeg and almond, like a Steenstra’s windmill cookie.
PALATE: Sweet up front, with bourbon, almond and nutmeg balanced by our bitters.
FINISH: Warm baking spice, like the last bite of the cookie.
How to Enjoy OUR Mojito Milk Punch
Pour over a big cube and enjoy. An orange twist or a cherry is a nice touch. No stirring, measuring or mixing required.
