Six Years of Experimental Barrel Aging
The cask drives the character of our Aged Rum. While our current release matured in ex-bourbon barrels to develop a rich, sweet caramel depth, other batches may feature the influence of malt whiskey, agave, or red wine casks. This process transforms a clean silver rum into a complex, dark spirit, its profile shaped by the previous life of the barrel.
Tasting Notes and Profile
NOSE: Heavy caramel, toasted sugar and a hint of vanilla bean.
PALATE: Rich and buttery with deep notes of molasses and seasoned oak.
FINISH: Smooth and warming with a lingering sweetness from the bourbon barrel.
How to Enjoy Our Aged rum
This is a sipper's rum. The six-year maturation has rounded out the edges, making it perfect for enjoying neat or over ice. It also serves as a premium base for a sophisticated Old Fashioned or a classic Daiquiri, adding depth.
